The mission of The Tech Shop is to offer professional and quality technology services at consumer rates. To do this we have:
Located in Syracuse, NY, the company is largely online based (as far as communication) with a drop off option for repairs - iOS device repairs have the option for free shipping, to and from The Tech Shop. After the request for iOS device service has been received, we request the address to mail our free mailing box to. After the box arrives, just place your device inside, seal it, and drop it off at the post office. Done!
Although we accept Cash, Cashiers Checks, and Postal Money Orders, online transactions are handled through Pay pal and Google Checkout, after the repair has been completed. Non-Repair customers will receive a project outline, once one is established. This outline will serve as a guide for the plan and proof of the agreement. All customers receive a receipt, after payment.
Repair customers will be given, or sent via email, a product repair invoice. The invoice will show all the product's information, its condition, and the information of the person who received the product. After we’ve received the product, we will do a free diagnostic and contact you about the problem, the solution, the estimated price, and timeframe for completion. We guarantee our repair completion time. If the repair is not done on time, the cost of labor will be waived. Repair customers also receive a 14 day defective repair window. This window protects you in case your device fails, in the area of our repair, within 14 days of the repair.
Meetings for Video or document projects are held in the Syracuse Galleries Library, although we are open to other locations. Drop-offs can be received at 208 Hubbell Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13207.
